Management Team
Prince Chimezie, Chief Executive Officer
As CEO of CITzar, Prince Chimezie is strategically building CITzar to become a first-class business solutions company. He is focusing the company on delivering customer-centric end-to-end solutions leveraging the best available and emerging technologies.
Prior to co-founding CITzar, he served as General Manager & Head, Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions Group of SoftWorks Limited (a division of Telnet Nigeria Limited). As head of the EIS group, he developed the Security and Enterprise Management practices of SoftWorks and by the time of his departure, the department had executed projects worth approximately $12 million.
Prince’s management experience spans business development and leadership. He is also experienced in establishing and maintaining business partnerships with reputable international IT companies, and carrying consultation at the executive level.
He has managed and delivered several high profile projects including:
- A $6 million Enterprise Management and Security System project for the Central Bank of Nigeria. The project involved a consortium of 5 companies with a project team of 17 people – 10 Nigerians and 7 expatriates.
- The implementation of a project covering Security Policy, Identity Management, VPN Provision, Network Security, Auditing and Banking Application for the Nigerian Automated Clearing System (NACS). The project was a joint project with NCR Canada and was worth $2 million.
He is a certified PRINCE2 practitioner. PRINCE2 is the project management methodology of the British Office of Government Commerce. He has attended numerous courses locally and internationally covering Basic Marketing, Customer Service and Relationship Management, Presentation Skills, Building Effective Teams, IT Service Management (ITSM) based on ITIL, etc. In addition to this, he has had significant practical industry experience.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Lagos and an MBA from the prestigious Lagos Business School (Pan African University) Nigeria.
Mark Ugbomah, Executive Director & COO
With a strong foundation in Computer Science from the University of Lagos, Mark a co-founder of CITzar, is equipped with several years experience in managing teams with full spectrum responsibility for architecting, developing and implementing software solutions.
As C.O.O. of CITzar, he is responsible for managing the activities of the Service Delivery and Corporate Services groups. He is energetic and result-oriented, with strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Prior to co-founding CITzar, he served as Head, Applications Development & e-Banking Support of Guaranty Trust Bank PLC, a first class financial services provider in Nigeria. He has led teams that have delivered several key solutions that helped sustain the leadership position of the bank in the industry. In 2003 when the bank instituted a Staff Award programme, he was awarded the Outstanding Performance Award for Technology.
Mark is an IBM Certified Specialist for Rational Unified Process and a project manager with the PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification. He has attended numerous trainings and events both local and international. He is currently undertaking the Executive MBA program at the Lagos Business School.
Edwin Ogboduma, Head of Infrastructural Services
Edwin has approximately 10 years experience in enterprise IT infrastructure design, implementation and support. An Electrical/Electronic Engineering graduate of the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo-State Nigeria, Edwin has successfully deployed numerous IT infrastructure projects.
He is a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Novell Engineer (CNE), IBM Certified Associate System Administrator for Lotus Notes & Domino, Certified Lotus Professional (CLP), IBM Certified Deployment Professional for Tivoli Monitoring and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). He has attended numerous trainings both locally and abroad. He joined CITzar in August 2006.
Gboyega Akinbaloye, Head Projects
Gboyega holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ilorin and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Lagos Business School. He has over 12 years experience in ICT spanning consulting, project management, operations management, and business development. He played a key role in the design, scoping, planning and delivery of a functional hub-based satellite communications station for Telnet Nigeria Limited between 2006 and 2007.
Gboyega joined CITzar in March 2008. He is a certified Prince2 project manager and currently has responsibility to ensure that projects are professionally and efficiently delivered to customers’ satisfaction. He has attended many local and international professional seminars and conferences on a wide range of ICT related subjects.
Gloria Boloukie Oyinkari, Head Human Capital Management (Corporate Services)
Gloria joined CITzar in November 2008. She is a seasoned professional with over 20 years experience in Office Administration, Human Capital Management, ISO 9001:2000 implementation and management gained from highly reputable organizations cutting across Telecoms, Oil and Gas, and Finance. She is an articulate communicator with effective listening, presentation and interpersonal skills.
She has good senior management experience with proven ability to lead, guide, and effect management initiatives, manage change and implement strategy. She is a Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) Registered ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems Auditor and also an alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School of the Pan African University in Nigeria. |
